Has got to be the most…*pause for dramatic effect* AMAZING, STUNNING, FANTASTIC, STUPENDOUS, JAW DROPPING, BREATH TAKING thing I have ever seen you create 0.o
I fell out of my chair, literally! *it’s a rolling chair and if you sit too close to the front, it flips forward and you smash you face on the desk… it’s not pretty* Still worth it! LOL!
Also, outstanding pieces cause me to babble uncontrollably, so you know that I’m in shock and awe over here right now and practically dying inside I missed out on him! *falls to knees, raises fists and cries “Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!” at the site of SOLD by it*
Anyway, I really hope you keep up these paint schemes on the Rock Dragons, they are remarkable!!! The look like they are frozen in time straight from a tropical rainforest! I don’t know how on Earth you do it! I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!!! I will try my hardest not to give myself a concussion falling out of my chair again next time! ^_^

I didn’t announce that one as it sold before Pam could even tell me. 🙂
As for the timing, unfortunately, no matter when something goes into the store, it will put some of Windstone’s customers at a disadvantage. 🙁 Since things are frequently selling as soon as they go into the store, even putting the “make an offer” function back up would not correct this issue.
I know Pam does try to put some items in earlier in the day as well – I believe the pumpkin AL #1 little rock dragon went in early afternoon Pacific time.
I purchased the first AL rock dragon at 2:46pm central time on November 27 as per my pay pal notification. My wife was one the website 15 min before me and swears that the AL#1 was not on there when she looked for new stuff. I think its all just luck to be honest. If your on and you see it and you want it buy it fast! If you don’t it will be gone before you can blink your eye. There has not really been to many facebook notifications for special pieces as usually the piece sells before Windstone can even upload it to facebook. Windstone even took price on the rock dragons and raised them by 150.00 and they still sold insanely quickly. Obviously Melody is doing something right!

Absolutely it is luck – and congrats on the AL rock dragon! As you say, very few of the special pieces are up long enough for a Facebook notification. I have had the opportunity to snag several of them (and have mostly chosen to let them go) – I just dislike having something posted after most of the East Coast has gone to bed! 🙂
I saw it there, and I admit it’s gorgeous, but I don’t really have to worry about the special items….I can’t afford the price tag of the cheapest one, lol. So i’m in the same boat I’m in with Ebay =P I can’t afford the higher price tags. But I love to admire them! They’re so awesome, and the stripes on this one is amazing!
All three of the recent rock dragons are beauts, but the rainbow pumpkin takes the cake – I think it’s the prettiest one I’ve ever seen! Though I’m in the same boat as others that could never afford them either in the shop or on Ebay, I feel lucky just to see great pictures of them! Congrats to those that get to give all of these special pieces new homes, they are little gems 🙂

This!!! I knew those little rocks were coming out, so I have been stalking the special section like MAD. Seriously, like every 20 minutes or so I’d just pop over and check….and I was still terrified I would miss them. It’s all timing and luck and checking and checking and getting bored of checking but checking again. 🙂
edit: and I mean this literally. The one exception is when I was at work, but then I would still pop over if I had a second!
