A lot of us. Although I prefer talking on the phone to in-person.
And I think it happened when text messaging became popular.

I hate talking on the phone, texting, writing letters, standing forever talking……OMG I am a total anti-social Recluse!!! LOLOLOL I do not however have any problem sitting with a group of friends, having a few drinks, lots of laughter and discussing how much I dislike people texting at the table, while you are trying to have a conversation with them or talking on the phone in a restaurant!! 🙂
I gotta go find me some “Funnies” pictures now!!! I think I may have hijacked Bodines thread!!

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.I’ve had mild phone-phobia since I was little (before cell phones!). But I think it’s fairly split these days– I see young people walking around with phones glued to their ear about as often as I see them texting.

I kind of think the whole technology revolution with cell phones and instant messaging is bad though, because I really think our younger generation has weak face-to-face social skills because of it.
