I tried contacting this seller about a listing she has
Just because I see it has a bid now, I want to just let everyone know she is obviously not selling the Sun Stripe Hatching Emperor because I have it in my possession (as I’m sure most of you already know because I had it listed earlier this week) She ripped off my listing description as I kindly asked her to edit it to which she told me she would, but never did. Also, the seller is not selling Olimpia’s Coiled Silver Mother Dragon either as I have already confirmed it looks like all the other white dragons she is selling and though I don’t think she is doing it maliciously, she also ripped Windstone’s auction description as well for that listing. (including Windstones store hours for contact information purposes)I would hope buyers would be aware that this looks suspicious and not bid, but I wanted to just try and make any unwary bidder here aware and protect themselves accordingly if they buy and don’t receive what is described.
Anyway, I think it is simply a seller not knowing exactly what she is selling and listing in a lazy manner, but you can’t be too careful is my policy. She is also selling a White Young and a White Scratcher to which the photos and listings are also ripped from other sellers auctions and are none of her own photos. The White Scratcher photo is actually from the Astral Castle website I believe and the White Hatching Emperor with my listing details is also copyrighted to someone else from 2007. I found it on a google search rather easily, as the other photos being used.
As she obviously is ripping others descriptions I would say she probably didn’t inspect her pieces thoroughly nor probably know how to pack them appropriately either, so if you bid, I just wanted to have people avoid a potential headache and be sure to communicate to the seller before bidding. I afraid whoever wins this White Emperor my be unpleasantly surprised and I don’t like my words being used in a listing that will have a negative outcome. 🙁
I just wanted to be clear with this post that the seller in question did not get my permission you use my words to describe her item, payment options, packing method, or (which gave me a chuckle) my commission status.

The other listing is really odd, too – all the close-ups are of a white coiled mom.

Yea, like I said I don’t think she is TRYING to be malicious or deceptive, but just doesn’t know what she is selling. She did tell me she would edit it, maybe she can’t finish the changes now that she has a bid? I dunno, but still…
She does NOT have a coiled mom from Olimpia, it’s a white one, but I didn’t want someone to bid thinking it was and end up with a big pile of steaming aggravation to deal with if they were expecting to get one of Olimpia’s pieces.

Regardless, it’s good that we keep a lookout for such things. Even if innocent, someone who doesn’t know as much as you could bid on something and end up not getting what they thought they bought. As always, too, it’s buyer beware and do research.

Yeah, I saw the listings and figured she copied and pasted. I actually think she may not be able to change the title itself now….but not completely positive.
I had dragon61 message her on ebay asking about more pictures. She claimed she couldn’t send them through ebay [ebay now prevents you from sending your email to try and limit outside contact(?), but there is apparently a send picture button] so she added them to the listing. It is now obviously just a white coiled mother. She even shows the bottom which has no signature. We would report it, but the reporting is so automated there is no way for us to do so because these aren’t our listings.
