Necklaces on Pegasi

Wind resistance? o.O

Now that sounds like a very good reason! LOL!

The babies are too young to fly and we all know that females will endure all sorts of inconvenients for the sake of a little bling! 😉

I was wondering why the Pegasus stallions don’t have a necklaces? I saw in Astral Castle that the “old” style Mothers and Babies didn’t have necklaces either but the later versions of mom and baby do.

The first Pegasus’s we made didn’t have necklaces.
We thought the mother and baby didn’t look fancy enough when displayed next to the unicorn family, in stores. So I gave them necklaces too. I thought the stallion looked good enough without one.
Once in awhile a naked baby Pegasus shows upon ebay, but I haven’t seen a mother without one on ebay, yet.

Thank you. Honestly, I think the mom is so pretty she would look good with or without the bling 😉 but, I see what you are saying though next to the Unicorns. Were the unicorn moms and babies ever made without necklaces?

Yes the babies were produced for a while without necklaces. I have one production painted mother without a necklace, so I thought we might of produced those for a short time too. However, I have never seen another one show up anywhere!
