I had not picked up a brush for 15 years until Melody produced these wonderful Foos! Now, I am having loads of fun again. I also picked up a dragon to paint…but it will be a LONG time before I am ready to share him. These tiny little things take me 6-10+ hours….so you can imagine how long I’ll be painting the dragon. 🙂
Photobucket is being bratty so I am splitting my post into two parts.
Here is my first Foo. I was rusty, and changed colors (a couple of times) but am pleased with the way he came out. He is sold.
I really wanted to do a green Foo…so here is Emerald Fire. I have had a trade nibble for him, but am waiting to hear back.
Had a lot of fun with that scheme, so here is Coal. This Foo is sold.

Thanks, I like her a lot, too! The pictures don’t really show the pretty gold/green on her ruff. So that will be a suprise for whomever buys her. 🙂

He looks lovely!! I love that brown (gold? Burnished gold?) color that you used – I can see the sparkle and it pairs very nicely with the blues! 🙂Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.
Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!January 12, 2013 at 10:39 pm #891617All cameras hate teal & purple. Most (that produce jpeg files) are tuned towards greens, reds, and flesh tones. I swear the engineers are thinking “Landscapes, race cars, women & children” when they come up with the algorithms for what the final image should look like! LOL
LOVE the Autumn scheme. I think that might be my favorite Foo so far. Congrats on finding something to inspire you to pick up a brush again! And ten colors on that wee little tyke?! WOW
These little guys are s…l…o..w…l…y starting to grow on me. I’ll end up with a flock of them eventually, I bet!
