Hello everyone! I’m a bit new here but not new to windstone, I absolutely have been in love with them since I first saw them at a headshop in Waco (Texas)
I only own one currently, but was able to get some of the PYO foo puppies last night so I am very excited about these additions!
Anywho, back to the topic
I’ve recently started sculpting with sculpey polymer clay. I have really wanted to take my time and make some detailed dragon pendants, so I would love to show them off to you guys and possibly get tips or tricks from those of you who already do stuff like this to help me further my clay sculpting abilities π
Prebake/paint:
Painted no glaze:
I’m still in the process of adding the glaze, and then I will have to go find a suitable chain/bead set up for this necklace. It was commissioned by my mother to resemble Gorenaire from Everquest (the original) which she still plays, hah! π
Any feed back is loved!
August 9, 2012 at 4:11 pm #884441Oh sorry for the terrible pictures, they were taken by an iPad since my camera is broken! The painted picture really does not do justice to how it came out
I hope to make more of these in the future to sell (I’m not allowed to buy any more crafting supplies until I sell some of my works, per the man’s demands!) but I’m not sure what to price them at. I may offer commissioned peices after people’s OC’s or just a dragon you’ve had in your head.. no idea!
Thanks for looking π

August 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm #884512Thank you! I’m still pretty new to sculpting, amazed at how the eastern came out, I’m likely going to start painting him today π
August 10, 2012 at 6:41 pm #884525I remember Gore from those long ago days of everquest lol. These are very neat, that little one in the upper right looks especially cute π

Thank you! The little one got claimed pretty fast by my significant other, and I’m sooo tempted to keep the big eastern, his colors came out pretty nice coming from a novice hah
August 12, 2012 at 1:54 am #884600Very nice! Can’t wait to see the big guy colored. π

Sorry I’m pretty scatter brained I should have linked this earlier!
I went with a red and green theme π
August 13, 2012 at 3:27 pm #884668Big east and a green western style dragon will be going up for sale today, I’m going to attempt to make more of the small dragon pendants but the first one will be going to my future nephew (just waiting on my ring π )

It’s a person. π There was discussion about what the name meant when she(?) joined the Forum.

Right before dragonmedley posted, there WAS a spambot that posted links and such. I deleted the account and the comment disappeared too. Dragonmedley was referring to the (now gone) comment with spammy links.
Just so no one else is confused!
