Yeah, it wouldn’t be ‘ridiculously cheap’ anymore once you added on the gas costs! π

April 25, 2012 at 4:03 am #878870What a find! I wish I had the means to get there myself, but I hope those browns go to good families… and those families post pictures π
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
April 25, 2012 at 6:43 am #878883I would be so willing but my wife says no. Might have been able to go but already planed a trip to Alaska and then down to the factory. And it will be so sad to not get the Brown Emp I am needing.

I know! It’s so frustrating that it’s so close and yet still out of reach!
For me it would be approximately a 10-hour drive one way, add the gas, the food, the hotel night, without knowing what is truly waiting at the end… I just can’t do it.
April 25, 2012 at 5:41 pm #878927This emperor has been for sale for more than a month, and I have tried every possibility I could think of to get my hands on it, but the seller won’t accept anything other than local pick up and cash payment on pick up. He also has 2 males for sale and will only sell as a lot.
If any of you are in the vicinity or know someone there, please do have a go at it. And good luck! π
Challenge accepted.
April 25, 2012 at 6:43 pm #878933I live 4 hrs away…..

I hope so too. Darn. I was close to getting someone to help me too. If not, I was going to actually try and drive it in a few weeks (I’d only have to do hotel/hostel a night or two and take one day off from work I think). *sigh*

I’m sorry to hear that! Last time we communicated (1-2 weeks ago) they were still not sold and I assumed that since the add was still there, that they were still available.
Sorry if I gave anyone false hope π
