So I’ve been debating about how much I like the new emerald color shift curlies. When I saw the preview of them in the blog I thought, “Ooh, pretty!” But I wasn’t 100% sure on them. I decided to wait for them to show up in the store so I could get a good look at them. I’m still not sure if I’m in love with the colors. So, I was wondering if any of you wonderful collectors who purchased one of these little beauties would be willing to post pics of them once they show up. I’d like to see the colors in a more natural setting so I can decide if I want to add one to my small, but growing, collection. Thanks, everyone! 😀
March 12, 2012 at 8:13 pm #876507I should get mine tomorrow and I’m stuck at home with sick kids, so I will try to get a picture for you. 🙂 However, we have very nasty weather ATM, so they may not look their best. 🙂

March 15, 2012 at 1:21 am #876698Here is a vid of my uni with the paint. Not the best vid, I need to get a better one w my P&S camera… maybe with both of my color shifting babies when my dragon shows up <3
WARNING: Might wanna mute your pc or turn the volume down. This camera likes to make clicky noises 'n is obnoxiously loud in the vid, lol

And KaytanaPheonix, thank you so much for filming your little uni. The color on him is gorgeous. Well, this has made it a pretty easy choice. Gotta have one. Thanks again, guys! 😀

I wasn’t too sure about this paint, because under diffused fluorescent light it can look kinda bland, but under a bright spot source it is very pretty … then I took it out in the sun.. WOWIE! You can even see the lime green and yellow color if you hold them above eye level.
March 15, 2012 at 7:47 pm #876726lime green and yellow in the sunlight??? I’ll have to try that as soon as the rain gets the hell away from my house!

Oh yes! But then the coiled mother looks great in almost any colour (Such as silver, perhaps?! The BVEPs would look pretty good as curlies, too.

Woman! I like the way you think :). Both spectrals would be a killer combo.
March 21, 2012 at 2:37 pm #877016I know LupusLunae basically covered this, but who doesn’t love more pictures? 🙂
Outdoors
Indoors, flash and no flash
Indoors, near a window
And I agree with drag0n, spectrals would look AMAZING in emerald color shift paint.
