In the nature of the holidays and good will, I have a few pieces that are free to a good home! If you can help me out with shipping (I’d love to ship them to you free but I just don’t have the funds to do so) they are yours, no strings attached.
I don’t have photos at this very moment but I’d be happy to take them once I have time, probably after Christmas.
#1: Goofy Oriental Dragon, NEEDS TLC for sure!
This oriental dragon was, if I recall correctly, originally Skigod’s and was shipped to her in nothing more than a used Coca-cola can box. It arrived broken, of course. She tried to fix him but it’s not perfect. Some of the re-sculpting is a bit rough and funky, and the paint finish is rough. He’d be a good project for someone just learning how to do repairs or if someone wants an oriental to play with… he’s not unreasonable looking from a distance but if you see him up close you can tell there is something going on.
It looks like he was originally broken at the face, his outstretched front leg, and at his butt. The tip of one horn is slightly bent. He is a dark peacock color with what looks like some minor repainting to try to repair him.
I originally bought him as a project dragon myself, and was going to repaint him way before I knew repainting was bad… but just ran out of time over the years and now I dread trying to restore him. Plus now it’d be awful of me to repaint him consider Windstone’s stance, and I work for them! I would not feel at all right about re-painting him. If you want him, he’s yours. I’ll try to get photos soon of the damage.#2: Hatching dragon in peacock
This is the hatching dragon in egg in peacock. We’ll say his condition is ‘displayed but otherwise undamaged’. No chips, discoloration, dirt, grime, perma-dust crap, etc. His felt pad does have two minor discolored spots but does not have an odor. I’ve had him so long that I don’t even remember where the heck he came from! No box or tax (did these guys even have tags?). One of his glass eyes does have a black bubble next to the pupil.
I’d really prefer this fellow to go to someone that doesn’t have one yet! 🙂#3 (coming soon… still looking at my collection)
If have more than one person after each piece, I’ll put names in a hat and draw them on Christmas day!
All I ask is that you help me out with shipping costs… thanks!

He has more interest than I ever would have guessed! So, everyone that PMs me about him, I will put names in a hat (or a mug or something) and draw one on Christmas, or the 26th if I get too exhausted with family events!

My art: featherdust.comDecember 27, 2011 at 7:15 pm #867384Okay! Here are photos of this guy. He’s.. well. Goofy. I warned you!
I will draw a name in a moment here. A day late.. *facepalm*
If the winner sees these photos and thinks ‘ew’ that’s totally okay. I understand! I will then pick someone else, and so on, until someone wants him.APOLOGIES…. My sister has borrowed my lens and so I had to take these photos with my cell phone. They are not very good, to be sure.
From afar, he doesn’t look too bad!
The good side of his face. Not terrible but not pristine either. This is the ‘display’ side.
The bad side. I mean no offense whatsoever to whomever tried to repair him, but it does need some work.
Display side of the broken tail segment:
Annnnddd the other side:
You can see whomever tried to fix him also repainted in an attempt to match the original paint job, but it’s rough.
“Haaalp me”
And the peacock hatching dragon.

My art: featherdust.comDecember 27, 2011 at 7:20 pm #867385Okay!! And the weirdo oriental goes to…. I drew Opal Dragon’s name! If you don’t want him after seeing the photos, just let me know and I’ll pull someone else’s name.
And the hatching dragon goes to… Tinks! There were only two people after him so you had a 50/50 shot!
You can both email me your shipping info at nambroth@gmail.com
