I was at a reptile show, and a local craftsman had a booth there. Most of his stuff was knives with alligator bone handles and hide sheaths. He had these really cool dragon pendants that caught my eye, so I stopped to look. WIndstone has spoiled me and I really don’t like most dragons I see, but these were nice. On top of their attraqctveness, the tails pull out and are the handles to tiny little knife blades. He didn’t mind us taking some pics, so enjoy!

The dragons cost $20, and the artist’s name was Phil; the business was Dragon Backbone, http://www.dragonbackbone.com, phone 352-610-6026. He said he was near Ocala, for Florida folks. I am offering no personal testimony other that thinking they looked neat, I don’t know him, and didn’t have $20 so didn’t buy one (yet- took his card!). I just thought others here might like them.

They were metal, didn’t ask what. (pewter maybe? the paint is a glaze sort of)
They were about palm size; 4″-5″ roughly
You can see in the top pic- the one in the top right hand corner has the blade pulled out mostly if you look hard. My original photos are pretty high resolution and if someone wants, I can email them to you- that way you can zoom in on the details.

They are really cool looking. But he’s just painting (or selling ones that are painted) of production pieces.

I’ve seen them before in their natural metal, they’re pretty cool 🙂 I would probably have looked them over pretty well to see if a painted one stood out enough for me to buy 🙂
