Okay so my gallery is a freaking mess… how do I delete entire folders???

It seems like all of my galleries have a duplicate folder that is empty… it’s difficult when I want to upload new files, it’s sort of a 50/50 chance I upload my photo into the wrong gallery.

Is there any way I can fix this and get rid of all these empty duplicate folders???

Or at least change the names of the duplicate galleries to something else?

Yeah, it’s been bugging me for a while too. LOL

The only way is for someone like me to manually go in and delete every duplicate folder or change their names. I just haven’t had time, sorry. Maybe I can get to it this week. No one had said anything about it until now.

I have been petitioning clay & co to come up with a way for users to control their own galleries.

I so wish I could use it the way (or similar to the way) we used to. Now that a new PYO has come out (the bookends) I’d like to be able to make a new album or delete the empty duplicate albums.

            I’m OCD…. I need to be organized x.x

There seems to be no simple edit path to do this so Pam will have to dig in and remove them. Creating user galleries that you can edit yourself is on the to-do list and that chore looks like it got dumped on our new hire Lane, as did a bunch of other stuff that we have been wanting to change. This could take a while, but it will get done.

Has there been any progress on this?

My gallery is a mess – there are random images not in galleries, and galleries that I could’ve sworn were sub-nested when I set them up that are now separate. There are some older images that mostly showcase my bad photography instead of my painting skills that I’d like to delete, too.

I also really miss the description feature – all my descriptions seem to have been eaten, and there’s no way to restore them.

I have new PYOs to add, but I don’t want to put them into my gallery until I can put them in neatly and not have to worry that they’ll end up somewhere random.

Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
