How much should you charge to paint a simple pyo unicorn?

Yep – that what I charge to. Plus I include the cost of the PYO itself.
I usually am around between $150 – $250 but it ALL depends on what’s going to be painted. So far I have never done a Unicorn I’ve charged more then $150 for, but if someone wanted something crazy, the price goes up. I’d LIKE to charge hourly, but I never can tell how long something will take me unless I have painted it before.

Most of my PYOs have a painting breakdown. I start with a base price and go up from there depending on how detailed they want the piece. This lets them pick and choose what they want, and they’ll know exactly how much the piece will cost.
My unis start at $155… this includes a rather normal paint job, sculpt, and gems.
Personally I’d charge about $80-$100 since I dont consider myself a skilled painter yet.
Koishii charges about $150 for a basic PYO unicorn-this does seem to be the going rate.
Thank you guys for the info..I needed it.I figured about $80 a piece too.About the same for a wolf or Ki-Rin.Not nearly as talented as them either but I’m working on it.I’m a late bloomer.Thanks again. :bigsmile:
