Can dealers order limited production items? Or could they if it was requested? Like if I called up my favorite windstone store and asked if they could get me a copper patina oriental for instance, would they be allowed to order one? I didnt think they could, so I was confused by the website.
Oh! That’s the Dragons Lair! I don’t know the answer to the question, but I used to buy from them locally when they were located in Raynham back in the early 90’s. It’s a little family run establishment, but I think they just go to conventions now and don’t have an actual store anymore. I see them at Anime Boston every year. They’re such a super nice family! I bought my Kirin family and Black Peacock Male Griffin back when they were in regular production <3 I remember the Griffin retailed like $76 or something like that back then, LOL! My very first Windstone ever came from that store *ah memories*

In general, no, Limited Production items are not available through our dealers (unless they want to pay the full price as in our own on-line store for them). If Dragonslair doesn’t have a brick and mortar store, it might be because they were grandfathered in.
Dragons Lair was at Dragoncon and they had all of the CP items you listed. By the end of the weekend they sold them all. No other color moved out as completely as the CP ones did.

That’s exactly right. We have a few internet only dealers and a few faire/convention dealers who have been with us for many many years.
I know they have been around for a long LONG time!
