This is my official squeak! I would LOVE to see a line of these. It’s right up there with Serpentine. *puppy dog eyes*
July 26, 2011 at 3:03 am #851998The paint scheme (antique scheme? *grin*) is very striking!
July 26, 2011 at 4:11 am #852004I agree! Meerschaum is completely gorgeous! The white Fledgling’s antiquing makes me focus on the immense detail of the sculpture itself –which is why I fell in love with Windstones in the first place! With Melody’s imagination and indescribable talent, her sculptures truly look so lifelike…
(…ESPECIALLY when painted like this!) 🙂July 26, 2011 at 8:41 am #852012Adore this dragon. I wish I could do it justice in a proper bid but have spend a lot lately and have set-up to get a few other Windstone and a couple of other dragons to help with my collection. I just about cried when I saw this one. And that black emerald is not to bad either.
July 26, 2011 at 9:44 am #852013Hmm.. unfortunately I think it’s much too much like old white.. but I’d be happy for everyone who loves it if it gets made LP or something XD

As for me, although I’m not normally a fan of white (the largest thing I got in the regular white was a coiled mail), or any sort of light, monotonous color, I could totally get behind this. I love it! It looks like ivory! I would really like to see it tried on an OW or Lap, as well. =)
July 26, 2011 at 1:15 pm #852016I was impressed by how striking such a ‘simple’ color scheme turned out, and I’d love to see you try it on more sculpts, Melody!
Like a kirin… 🙂
July 26, 2011 at 4:05 pm #852021Meh… you guys think so? I think this looks awful actually x.x
… and I NEVER say stuff like that about any Windstone. I’m not a fan of anything up right now except that Black Emerald Hatcher and the Orca Chicks. THOSE are gorgeous and make me sorry I’m poor right now! LOL!

*squeak*July 26, 2011 at 5:46 pm #852029If Melody won’t paint more, I bet I could get one of the production painters to, if the fledgling does ok. I think it would look good on an oriental. Faux ivory would be a cool color to try also.
July 26, 2011 at 6:07 pm #852031I’m not digging it on the fledgling, but it would be amazing on an oriental.
Not that I would ever be able to win the auction for that. 🙂
How about a LP for the store?

OMG, Pam, it would look SO good on an Oriental.

WOW! All at different times too. I have no idea what went on there – I only hit the button once!

I think _anything_ looks good on the Oriental sculpts! XD
July 27, 2011 at 11:02 pm #852158meh. He’s kind of boring…and there are so many other prettier color options…like the emerald/black, or pink, or lavender….
