I agree! Meerschaum is completely gorgeous! The white Fledgling’s antiquing makes me focus on the immense detail of the sculpture itself –which is why I fell in love with Windstones in the first place! With Melody’s imagination and indescribable talent, her sculptures truly look so lifelike…

I wish I could do it justice in a proper bid but have spend a lot lately and have set-up to get a few other Windstone and a couple of other dragons to help with my collection. I just about cried when I saw this one. And that black emerald is not to bad either.
Hmm.. unfortunately I think it’s much too much like old white.. but I’d be happy for everyone who loves it if it gets made LP or something XD

As for me, although I’m not normally a fan of white (the largest thing I got in the regular white was a coiled mail), or any sort of light, monotonous color, I could totally get behind this. I love it! It looks like ivory! I would really like to see it tried on an OW or Lap, as well. =)
I was impressed by how striking such a ‘simple’ color scheme turned out, and I’d love to see you try it on more sculpts, Melody!

… and I NEVER say stuff like that about any Windstone. I’m not a fan of anything up right now except that Black Emerald Hatcher and the Orca Chicks. THOSE are gorgeous and make me sorry I’m poor right now! LOL!
