When you paint another Palomino mother for Ebay(or LP, I would love to see these LP), can it have dark eyes? Or a choice of eyes? The last two have had blue eyes and the blue eyes REALLY give me the creepers.
I’m looking for another girl like this one. The nice caramel palomino color.

I have to agree on the brown eyes for Unicorns. Blue and Teal look fantastic on most sculpts, but I do not usually like them on the Unicorns. And the lighter the blue eyes, the more I dislike them. They just look off.
I have a similar but seperate sqeak. Melody, could you upaint more Palamino mamma unis (or at least one) with metallic teal eyes? Ive not been bidding on the other palimino mammas hoping for a teal eyed one. Or even a dark blue. Teal would be super fantastically awesome. 😀

There’s nothing wrong with people talking about similar things in threads Wampus.. it happens all the time! Not one of us “owns” the threads that we make, its a public forum after all 😛
I think it would be nice just to give the option of light or dark eyes with every unicorn – I like the teal eyes on palominos for the most part, but honestly it just depends! There are definitely some palominos that I prefer with brown eyes, and some I prefer with blue 🙂

Well bug you as it may, it’s still not really fair to other people if you try to make “rules” for your own thread, and make them feel bad about posting their opinions. If it’s a communication that absolutely cannot be influenced by anyone else’s opinions, maybe send an email or something. A public forum is a place for everyone to express their opinions.

That being said, I agree that the darker eyes look more soulful.
I think expressing your opinion is fine, whether you agree or disagree. Saying you like blue eyes in this thread is not the same as squeaking for them in this thread though.
However, it is not a hanging offense. I am sure it was a case of “I didn’t even think about that” and not a case of “I want to hijack this thread.”
I know it was not necessarily intentional. It’s still a peeve though. I expressed it light-heartedly in the first post I made. But upon being prodded for it, I explained the plain reason. So I’m done. You should be too.
