Specifically for the Ebay Male and Fledge? I’ve gone searching for them and I’ve come up empty handed. The old Ebay thread doesn’t have pictures in it anymore 🙁

June 23, 2011 at 4:31 am #849082I like the male with the more orange areas. I think a run of prototypes in that color would be lovely 🙂
June 23, 2011 at 4:40 am #849083I only like Serpentine if it has those reddish highlights like the male. If any store pieces don’t have those reddish areas, I wont be buying them in serpentine. It’s blah without that red contrast.

That’s the exact same reason I won’t be buying any regular turquoise dragons XD I don’t think it has nearly enough contrast to work on anything but orientals.

And the purple! Its a great idea: green and orange; but the curlies looked “blah” to me. The green has too much grey or brown or something in it. The male is gorgeous though!

Turquoise has silver in it to contrast. Like what is in the mane and tail on the oriental. If the color was done on another dragon, say a male, then the silver can be used to contrast and soften the turquoise in places. With perhaps a slightly darker blue to contrast in shadows. It can work. Im not thinking a total matte turquoise with no details here.

Oh I understand what you’re saying. I just don’t think its enough contrast to look good. The turquoise color scheme is monochromatic, and I’m just not a fan of that type of scheme on the production dragons. It’s one of the reasons I’m not a fan of Emerald on anything but orientals.

I would have liked black gold more if there was LESS contrast. More like Blackwatch the OW than what they are now.

XD That’s where we differ – I love contrast! Black Gold and Amethyst are my 2 favorite current production colors 🙂
