Want to just get rid of this griffin. Please make an offer… not something ridiculously low because I want at least what it cost me with shipping, but I’ll take like $65-$70 for her plus shipping.
She is a version of the Shimmering Embers coloration, however, I have also dubbed this one “Overkill” because I got a little too crazy with the magic invisible paint! She is FREAKING LOADED with sparkles!!! 0.o

Shaun is out of work again because he was fired for making a bad stop. (long story, but all it takes is one screw up when you work loss prevention) He’s going to fight it and try to get unemployment in the mean time, but if things don’t work out I’m gonna be in trouble again and the Windstones will be the first thing to start going if that happens.
I’m also trying to sell my Vespa this summer, however I haven’t registered it in about 6 years and I know I have all kinds of back sales tax and what not due before I can sell it so I’m going to be selling a couple of things so I can pay that off hopefully in the near future so I can legally sell the Vespa without any trouble.

Ive always liked that dragon-its a beautiful color scheme! Unfortuantly I’m still broke 😛 I wish you luck on selling it though drag0n-and good luck on registering the Vespa! I’d looove to have a Vespa, but everything in Houston is so spread out-and the streets here aren’t exactly motor bike friendly, so Ive been putting it off. One day though! The local Vespa dealership is inside a Ferarrai dealership *drool* Good excuse to window shop!

Vespa’s use gears? o__O Why not just buy a motorcycle then haha. I thought, like all scooters, that they were automatic. News to me.
It took me over a year before I was comfortable enough to ride my bike out of my tiny town. Once you get use to the gears, being out in traffic is easy stuff. I use to stall A LOT, but that’s because my bike is carbureted… not fuel injected. Thing suuuucks lol. Takes forever to warm up and super easy to stall. My bike is also angry sometimes. Refusing to go into neutral or 2nd gear. Bah.
Well, THIS Vespa does. Probably because it’s just under 50 years old ^_^
I so want an automatic instead. I have been looking and instead of selling it, I might trade it for something else, but I still have to get the sales tax taken care of in either case.
I’m just too much of a pansy to take the time to learn. I’m so afraid dumping the bike and putting a scratch on it. It’s SO PRETTY and perfect >_< I jst can't risk scratching it. LOL! That and I'm honestly just afraid. It's SO BALSY! I didn't think a 150 c-c would be so strong! Probably because it's a lot lighter then a motorcycle, but it BOLTS!!! It's terriffing! LOL! Not sure on how the gas works on it, I know you have to mix 2 stroke oil directly with the gas in a 50/50 split. It gets about 80 miles per gallon though!

This is a good thought. If it’s 50 years old with only a couple miles on it, I’d say it should be worth something since Vespa is the “top” of scooters! I didn’t even know that they were around that long.
I’ve used a scooter with 150cc before lol. The thing wouldn’t go over 40mph. Then it died and the person that owned it gave it to me, it sat in my backyard for years and then my dad pawned it off for $20 :,D
Yea, a lot of people were actually saying that a collector might be interested. I have been thinking of posting an ad in the paper or something, but I have to get the sales tax thing taken care of first anyway JUST IN CASE I actually get a good offer ^_^
It’s a legit import direct from Italy so I know it’s sure to be worth something. I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought it, but I had a HUGE credit card limit and just went nuts back then. Looking back on it, I got a great deal cuase it IS an amazing bike. Paying for it now of course, but that was a lesson learned, hehe.
I let me step dad drive it around here and there just so it doesn’t dry up from sitting and it looks like so much fun and always starts right up even when I waited a year before running it.

Some people have enough interest in an item like that that they might travel a ways to get it and maybe even take care of the sales tax part for you (I don’t know what the sales tax situation is, though).
Sorry to hear about Shaun’s job, drag0n. I used to work at a department store where the loss prevention guy would always show us what was going on so we could watch the action. It was exciting, but that has to be a hard job! Maybe this happened for a reason, maybe there’s a better job out there waiting for him <3
Thanks guys, he spoke to a higher up yesterday and they said after 90 days he will be “re-hireable” and they said though they can’t garuntee his old job back, they will rehire him with the company… I don’t know how good the guy’s word is worth, but it was one of those formality type of terminations I guess.
I don’t know… it all seems stupid to me. He got fired for chasing a guy who was running out of the store with a TV. They’re not supposed to chase down people, BUT there was another employee already with his arm around the guy outside so Shaun HAD to interneve so the other employee didn’t get hurt. They both got fired in the end. It’s really the other employee’s fault, but Shaun got wrapped up in it so they were both terminated. The other guy should not have even been going after any shoplifters in the first place, nevermind try and grab them, since he was just a regular floor employee and not loss prevention. I guess no good deed goes unpunished.

We were told to tell the manager. Easier said then done considering we rarely had more then one person at the store at a time (one GC, 1 HW), so each of us WAS the manager when we were on shift @__@;;
One time I was working with Ameer, the actual manager of the GameCrazy store (and still a friend of mine today). Some guy came in and stole an XBox 360 and just bolted. Ameer chased him halfway down the street! Never got the guy though.
Ameer didn’t get in trouble for chasing him though.
