Does anyone remember the animated short “Cat Came Back” by Cordell Barker? I saw it when I was very young played on PBS in between some other shows. Directly afterwards PBS played a second animated short that I have never seen again. It was black and white, simple line drawings. A husband and wife playing scrabble, I think, and the man was cheating. That’s all I remember. Anyone know what I am talking about? I would love to see that short again.
I remember seeing “the cat came back”!! They sang a song, “The cat came back the very next day, the cat came back, they thought he was a goner, but the cat came back….”. I loved that little cartoon!!…still do. When I saw it, it was on Nickelodeon during “Ren and Stimpy”, but I don’t remember seeing the scrabble one. If it’s like “cat came back” I’d like to see it too now!
