Absolutely gorgeous!
While I’m at it: Which do you prefer on the hoofers: solid colors or “spotty” colors?
I’d go with solid any time: palomino, bay, buckskin, dun, sorrel, chesnut… you get the idea. I also like natural colors on the wings, for example, I would have preferred a completely black (wings included) pegasus family. I know it doesn’t make any sense to call anything “natural” about a fantasy creature, but what can I say…
Dragons are another matter: anything goes!
May 14, 2011 at 4:13 pm #845303I like palominos, buckskins and most appaloosas, but I’m not a fan of the paints at all. Though I would kind of like to see a horse pattern in an unnatural color (like a pink/white appaloosa).
May 14, 2011 at 5:39 pm #845307You know what, it’s going to look like I can’t make up my mind, but I’ve been thinking about it and I would love to see a Pegasus in the new “Sand” color!
And I think that a completely unnatural color might also be very striking, can you imagine what an Emerald Peacock or a Red Fire Pegasus would look like. :O
May 14, 2011 at 6:41 pm #845312Glad to hear I’m not the only one–all those paints and appys in the eBay auctions depress me because I really dislike both patterns, with a few odd exceptions.
I’ve love to see some palominos and buckskins, nice dramatic lemon buckskin, blue roan of course, blood bay, dapple anything, liver chestnut…
And I’m just glad she’s gotten away from solid white wings so much because I didn’t like the ‘tacked-on’ look that made with a pegasus that had a different colored body. 🙂

What about a buckskin male pegasus with ‘hawk’ wing markings?

Agreed, I really like the shaded/patterned wings as well, although solid white does fit with some colors.
