Black Gold Rising Spectral Dragons have been restocked in our store. We also have a picture of them posted for the first time! (this is the dragon that was playing hide and seek for the past few years and never stayed out of hiding long enough for a photo-shoot!) These are a production color, which means that they are also available from our dealers.
Oh wonderful 🙂 I am missing only this one from my BG collection. I dont have the money yet to buy one and saw there are only five in stock. Will there be more put in the store soon?

Since they’re available to Windstone dealers, you can always put one on lay-a-way with Emerald’s Emporium or Astral Castle. They take payments.
Is this photo an example of the current paint jobs?
My black gold rising spectral has some reds and oranges on his belly-not all gold like the one in the pic.

The photo of Astral Castle’s database also shows red on the chest. I also like the red on the chest…
This is the only dragon I’m missing from the black gold collection. So I’ll have to get him eventually. Now that this is brought up though, I noticed that the wings aren’t purple anymore. Is this true? That was my favorite thing about the risers… Do not want if his wings aren’t purple 🙁*sigh* I’m unfortunately going to be the oddball on this one. I really like the new color …especially on the wings… *runs and hides*
(But hey! There’s a color for everyone, right? 🙂 )
I like the newer one, though I do like the blended belly on the old one, but I do prefer the way the wings are on the new one, but that is just my preference. 🙂
No worries, I actually like the newer version as well… sort of makes me wish I didn’t have the one I did. Well, scratch that I guess… he is sort of special… but now I want them both. LOL

We took ’em out of the store because you are right. They needed more color on them. I compromised between the two color schemes; they will have more red on the chest, but I think the wing “arms” should stay black, not be painted purple. It matches the other black gold dragons.
The one in the store pic does have purple on his wings, it is on the web which is partially hidden by the arm so it doesn’t show up well in the store photo.
