the Oriental Dragon and a Coiled mother.
I have been planning to maybe do a limited production batch, but this color is very hard to keep consistent because it is created by layering colors on top of one another. A slight difference in the amount of paint applied will change the color… so -more headaches I don’t need right now.I tried to photo them, but this color is REALLY hard to show in a photo, especially using my camera (I am not real clear on how to adjust the light settings on it) They always look totally washed out and silvery. These are painted in a range of seal brown, copper, and pearl with a subtle hint of violet, but my camera only sees the pearl color!
I’ll see if I can get Pam to photo them with the real camera.So………….Will the Oriental and the Coiled Mother be going up on Ebay ???? Fingers crossed ! I too would like to see some of this color in limited production dragons especially the smaller pieces.

I do know what you mean about trying to get the “real”coloring of the Toasted Pearl.I bet I have at least 100photos of “Toasty” and it is almost impossible,with my camera that is,to get the true colors.Outside light and indoor flash makes her look totally different.Part of her charm I guess. 😉
