      How do you sculpt such teeny, tiny, itsy, bitsy detail into your work??? Baby kirin, little flap cats, Mermaid scales, etc. It completely boggles my mind…

        For really fine detail I work under a magnifying lamp or use a “nit picker” head piece with a magnifier in it. I carve with tiny dental tools or home-made carbide tools. I used to be able to do the fine work without any extra lenses!… those days are GONE.
