Violet Flame Fledgling

Well, I had said I probably wouldn’t make more of these because we were having so much trouble with the red paint being unstable. The red paint seems to be working pretty well now, though it still is prone to “bleeding” if it isn’t sealed well. But, this Violet Flame color uses just a little red so … maybe I will try to do some again!

well while your at it maybe some OWs?!!!!! :bigsmile: or at least some curlies (although i’d prefer an Ow over a curlie) 🙂

Yeah, it just means you have a very dedicated….maybe manic is the better word…fan base. Maybe the store should sell certificates for a Windstone rehab program? :bigsmile:

You only go to rehab if you WANT to quit your addiction. Me, I’m not willing to quit! 😀

Melody-maybe if you guys painted a batch of a few different items and THEN put them up in the store instead of painting a batch of one item and putting it up, maybe the items would last a little longer in the store. If there were like 3 new items at a time, most of us would probably only be able to afford 1 of them at a time, which would leave more of the other 2 items for people who prefer them…. so you wouldn’t have everyone pouncing on the ONE new item in the store.

Like for example, if there were more Siamese mamma griffins, more Amethyst Orientals and more silver hatching empresses-me personally, although I would like to add one of each of those three items to my collection, I’d definatly choose the oriental over the other two-but if only one of them was re-stocked, I’d choose that one no question.

Not to be Debbie Downer on the Fledglings mentioned in this thread because I LURVES ME SOME FLEDGELINGS! However, the out of stock thing was precisely why I “forgot” about the Windstone website for almost a full year before coming back and joining the forum.

I’ve been in love with Windstones since I was a kid – so much so that I have always remembered “M Pena” and when I finally thought of it a couple of years ago I went searching the internet and found the official site! Sadly, since there was nothing affordable in stock I left and didn’t come back for quite a while.

Of course I’m only one person and I’m sure many others would have had the foresight to bookmark the page and check back more frequently, I’m just relaying what happened with me 🙂

Oh and I totally agree with Wolfen – I would react in much the same way and I think a lot of people would! If you have a choice you’re much less likely to pounce immediately on everything, but when there’s only one new thing at a time, all of your crazy awesome fans will most definitely pounce on that one thing! XD
