WOOHOO!!!! I’m SO EXCITED! :bigsmile:
Now I know my home wasn’t swallowed up my a tsunami or an earthquake so I must count my blessings, but so far this year has SUCKED royally! I’ve been averaging almost one dead pet a month, have hated my job so much to the point I want to drive into oncoming traffic on the way there so I don’t have to go in, and have been arguing with my sister so much that I am contemplating moving and giving up my half of the house.
HOWEVER!!!
A glimmer of good news has FINALLY come at the end of the third month of this awful year! AFTER ALMOST 8 MONTHS I FINALLY GOT MY TRANSFER!!! WAHA HAHAHAHAH!! I leave next week and am NEVER COMING BACK! *raises hands to the sky* I’m FREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I don’t have to deal with my worthless manager harassing me anymore and looking at my jerk ex boyfriend’s face in the department across from me anymore either! *cackles in glee* No more Kitchen Design either! I’m going to a whole new department in a store that’s under a year old. It’s all shiny and new and my OLD manager who I LOVED is the new STORE manager there! He LOVES ME! As soon as he heard I wanted to go there he got it DONE in like 3 days! I’ll probably spend most of my time painting signs, but at least I’ll get some appreciation for it! It will be difficult to learn a whole new area, but on the flip side it will be fresh and new!

I just got a confirmation email from the anime convention I go to that I, along with some of my friends, are going to me actual pieces in the conventions Magic vs. Science Chess match!!! WOOT! (one of them being a fellow forum member, which is even MORE AWESOME!) I have never done anything this big before on stage. I was a Special Attack the year before last, but I got like 15-30 seconds of time on stage. Now I’ll be up ther ethe whole hour or two… depending on how long the game lasts.
OMG! I’m gonna ROAST but it’s gonna be SO MUCH FUN! *squeal*

Your convention visit is going to be so awesome. I remember the pictures you posted on that trip and this one is going to be better and being on stage longer is going to be so much fun, even as you say, you’re going to die with the heat. Drink lots of water. All being said you will have a ball. Post pics if you can.

He’s been ignoring me all day (works just fine for me actually) and even the store manager was rude to me for the first time in my life today telling me they just had to hire 3 new people and a 4th needs to pass a drug screen. Whatever, it won’t bring me down ^_^
HAHA!!! I think it’s funny it will take 4 new hires to replace all the work I do by myself!
I’m happy I am leaving, I didn’t even get a “Why do you want to transfer? Why are you unhappy?” just a cold shoulder and a don’t let the door hit you in the butt.

LOL cosplay chess. I did that at AUSA 2007. I was Science side (as Muraki Kazutaka from Yami no Matsuei) and a bishop. I was the second to last piece to be taken. Science won.
And I got to kill Kagome with a special attack (zombies!), which made my weekend so much better. Unfortunately I was taken out by Tuxedo Mask.

Well, not as bad as they year I was a special attack! I was the Hellhound from Hellsing and Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service killed me!
