I use Aileen’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue:

My bottle looks slightly different than that but you get the idea – it’s a nice thick consistency glue that I use just a dot in the socket in (about 7mm large in an 11mm eye socket). I also use this glue to adhere the gems to Keeper Dragon’s tails because it dries very clear and very flat – if you have a small bit of excess on the tail paint you won’t be able to see it at all.

I’ve bought one jar of this glue and I can hardly tell I’ve used it at all – it’s great!

I usually just rub mine on a glue stick and then cram them in there.

I use a tiny drop of Loctite Gel Glue. GEL though, not the watery super glue. 🙂

I used to use regular old Elmers glue, until I messed up and got glob of it coming out around the side of the eye (now he looks like he has one of those sleep crispies by his eye 😆 ). I took Yeral’s advice and picked up the Aleene’s gel, now I don’t worry about being clumsy.

Elmers… but I think as long as it’s sticky it will work. 😀

Am I the only one that uses bubble gum? 😛
                      j/k, I use Elmer’s glue also.

Elmer’s glue (ie. white glue). I think I remember seeing a thread long ago that Melody mentioned that white glue is what they use at the factory, but I could be wrong.

No you are right, that’s what they (and myself) use.

I also use tacky glue…the stuff that comes in the gold squeeze bottles. I like that it’s not too thin or thick, and dries nice and clear when I use it for other projects. 🙂

I find that the very best all purpose adhesive is E6000. It is permanent when fully cured, and any excess rubs off like rubber cement without damages or discoloring to paints, sealers, and a variety of surfaces. What is so nice about it besides that, is you have “wiggle room” for adjusting a setting for about 30 minutes. It dries completely clear too!
