What’s with the new site Melody? I took a look at it and it’s beautiful so far, but is this one going bye bye at some point? Just curious, why the change?

Yes this forum will be replaced by the new one.
The new website has been in the works for over two years.The point was to get all the different things: blog , forum, store, website etc. all in together in one program. Keeping all the separate components working together and not breaking in the old system is a nightmare. You saw cracks in the program when the spam started getting in and there wasn’t much we could do about it.
The new forum section hasn’t been “tweaked” yet. I think that by adding color, and a few other familiar details it can be made to resemble this good old forum a little more closely.I’ve been trying to see it, but the link I think I’m suppose to use isn’t working for me. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but could someone post the new web site like here 😳 ?

it was a slow loader for me too…..and I tried posting a new thread but it never showed up as well. 🙁
The first time I looked at this website a few days ago, there was a beautiful close up of an OW on the front, and lots of images and stuff.. but now it’s black and white, and the forum has a white background – is this an intended change, or just the way it looks as it is being worked on? (I liked the first style i saw so much better! ><)

OK I see the problem here – the website looks terrible in Internet Explorer (stupid IE!!) >< I was viewing it at work, and it's just black and white, and really hard to read in some places – the forum in particular looks very weird.

It opens up right away, with the picture of the OW, if I use FireFox. 😀If I go through AOL, it finally opens up in black and white, minus the OW picture. 😡 OMG, I HATE AOL. 👿
It works in my IE, but it’s very slow to load and some of the pages really load with the forum colors being different than in firefox or some of the formatting is missing.
Has anyone tried checking the site in Opera, Safari, or even Chrome?
I’m on IE8. It opens fine, but no OW pic. The front page is white, gray, and black. The drop down boxes work differently on different “pages”.
