So far I’ve found that most websites that sell Swarovski chatons sell them too big (3mm and larger) or in too huge of a quantity (I FOUND what I was looking for, but they wanted me to buy them in bulk – 1000 for 100 dollars.. no thanks!).
Now I’m wondering if anyone on here has any special stores or connections that would have access to a small amount (I’d buy 100 or less) of a very specific color and size of swarovski crystal – the one I want is called “Crystal Golden Shadow” and you can see an example of it here:

That website offered them much too large, and the other website that I found the correct size on (http://www.cosplaysupplies.com/store.php?p=MJ-96710121286001) demanded that I buy them in bulk 🙁 Neither will work for me. I have looked through the links provided in the wonderful sticky that Bayoudragon started, but none of them have the exact color and size I am looking for.
So – just a general shout out here, wondering if anyone has any other ideas of where I could look 🙂
Oh, also I would gladly settle for a color that is very much like the Crystal Golden Shadow. here’s a picture of it – I’m looking for something basically offwhite – opal colors would work, or a light topaz.

Have you tried any of the craft stores like Michaels, A.C.more or Joann fabrics? Sometimes they have them in packages of 10 or 25 in the bead section. There’s also:

Hope this helps Yeral. 🙂Yeah we have a Michaels here, but they only have flat backs >< I have been looking at the Fire Mountain Gems website as well, I may just have to settle for a different gem color, because they definitely have some reasonable prices and quantities.

The only thing I get concerned about is that they are flatbacks and I’m afraid of trying to put those into the spots on a unicorn that have been made for chatons. Maybe they have that color in chaton though, I’ll have to see! thanks!

I use them for my unis. 🙂 A word of warning though, they are a golden color… not really offwhite. But the smaller ones aren’t as deep in color as the big ones. The small ones may actually work.

Awesome, thank you Bayoudragon!! Those may actually work really well. I originally was going to get straight yellow or orange but I kind of fell in love with the Crystal Golden Shadow when i saw it 😳 What size is the smallest one you have there? I know the sticky thread mentions 1mm – 2mm for the unicorns, but I get confused when I’m looking at the chatons and they have 1.15, 1.80, etc. sizes! I just can’t decide which ones to get ><
Edit: the more i look at them next to my uni, the more I think they will be perfect 🙂 even the darker colored ones are great!

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Most people go by “mm” sizes. I actually go buy “pp” sizes when I buy mine. I keep them in little round Plano tackle boxes. I have the following “pp” sizes: 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 32.
I can pack 29 crystals onto the uni sculpt! 😈 Here’s the breakdown.
