Hiya Ms Melody :hi: I was wondering if you will ever consider making another form of browns, perhaps dark browns,as a new production color one day?The old browns like this one are some the best you’ve ever done…in my humble opinion 🙂 I love mine. This is one of your older ones, stamped and is still looking good 🙂

Probably not for production, since stores seem to do better with bright colors , but for a limited color , almost anything can happen! (My mom might of decorated that one, she did that with us when we first started Windstone. The double row of head spots is indicative.)

I was wondering about that, I’ve never seen one with THAT many of the teal accents in the head like that.

As far as the color goes, I’m all for that brown/orange/coppery look. There was a rising spectral dragon a long time ago I LOVED that was a metallic rust color. It reminding me of that copper penny color lots of trucks and SUVs are. It was AWEOSOME!

                  Got a busted Windstone?

Love the idea of having a naturally colored dragons availble again. I love my brown and Old green dragons. Most of the dragons produced are metallicly and shiny. I understand why that would work better for retail, but I’d love to see some matte colored ones in the store.
Maybe even some seal pointed dragons, maybe, purty please 😳 ?

Cool about your mom! Memories for you…
I LOVELOVELOVE the idea of another ‘natural’ scheme for the dragons! LP would be absolutely no problem. The dobermans were awesome; based on that? I’ve truly loved some of the really dark old browns too; i’ve seen ones that would approach the dobermans in intensity. Doesn’t WSC have one/some like that? The ‘sand’ male spun my wheels also. Maybe something as dark as the really dark older browns, with the sand’s yellow eyes and a different accent color to help differentiate it?

I would love to see natural colored dragons again! I think dragons should mimic their surroundings and I can’t, for the life of me, think about where an Amethyst dragon would be living! 😀

See-that’s another wonderful thing about Windstone as a company-you actually KNOW some of the people who painted or cast the piece you own. I mean-even if you have some production Windstones, there is a good chance Olympia painted some! So even if you dont have one signed by her, you may still have a piece painted by Olympia or maybe even Melody (in the case of the old greens and browns)
                            Very awesome.

Dark Copper Brown sounds good to me
