I brought “Autumn Harvest” with us in case he sold on eBay while we were on vacation (good thing I brought him!), so I wanted to get a shot of him while we were in Rocky Mountain National Park. He fits right in! ๐
Photos of our vacation in the mountains to follow soon!

Seriously! You’re welcome anytime! We are also the gateway to Yellowstone National Park and live in the alluvial flood plain of prehistoric Lake Bonneville, so if you’re in need of any other rock formation inspirations we’ve got literally tons, from Craters of the Moon to Yellowstone to a plethora of color and rock types just out in the farm land – reds, greens, blues, purples, pure white, rocks with stripes, rocks with holes, rocks with spots. Ethan brought home one the other day that he calls an Easter Egg. It is robins egg blue with with and purple specks all over it. The best part about these rocks is that they are all naturally tumbled with a smooth nearly velvet texture to them. Please come and paint rock based pyos. I just can’t do them justice! Oh and one more thing to entice you out here… Idaho’s State Rock is the Star Garnet which are absolutely stunning. There are tons on places here to hunt for them and we’re close enough to Montana that you can find Sapphire as well! Is it working yet? Have I tempted you enough? ๐
