Yeah, another one of these.
I sold Lavender Mint, but have not heard from, nor been paid in almost two weeks. I went to ebay to see what my options are for this case…but at the moment do not want to spend hours looking up information. I did find that to open a claim, automated claims you have to wait 32 days! So I am asking if any one has dealt with this recently, could provide me with some info on what I can do faster then if I tried hunting it down myself.
July 29, 2010 at 8:43 pm #822948Did you state in the acution something like “payment must be made in 7 days” or anything like that? If they don’t pay you or contact you within a normal time frame you can offer it to others that have bid (2nd chance offer) or just realist it. I’ve had to do this before 🙁 e-bay was really no help with contacting the buyer….
July 30, 2010 at 1:58 am #822949AnonymousHi Koishi!
Well, 2 weeks is rediculous – have you sent multiple invoices (do that – after one week I send an invoice about every day LOL) – it’s nerve racking waiting for payment!
It’s hard to find anything on eBay now but I think if you click on your MESSAGES tab (the tabs across the top are: ACTIVITY > MESSAGES > ACCOUNT > APPLICATIONS.
Anyway under MESSAGES on the left side scroll down below CONTACTS to RELATED LINKS – there should be a choice of REPORT AN ITEM NOT RECEIVED.Since I don’t have an unpaid item I can’t find a faster way to tell you but definately report it NOW. Usually that gets their attention and they pay. 🙂 I hope it works for you. I thought there was a dropdown menu in your SOLD items when viewing that item, under VIEW ORDER DETAILS > More Options (thought you could file an unpaid item case there).
GOOD LUCK!!

I just read my posting and realized I sent you to the ITEM NOT RECEIVED area pffffft……..
The unpaid items should be in the dropdown menu next to the item you sold 😡
I’m a bit embarassed for my dumb reply – sorry…….MENOPAUSAL? ::cough::: 🙂
July 30, 2010 at 9:47 pm #822952thankx guys! I really appreciate the responses. yup. still no work. I sent two invoices, and one message, no response. Looks like I will have to do second chance offer….and some reading on ebay.
July 30, 2010 at 10:00 pm #822953Well, no sooner then I type that, I go to ebay to my sold item, and find a note tacked there:
eBay Note: An unpaid item case was opened on Jul 29, 2010 and you are awaiting payment.
eBay Note: This user is no longer registered on eBay.Mind you, ebay never sent me any message that this person was no longer registered. If I had not been LOOKING, I probably would not have seen that for another week! AGH, ebay, you ANGER me.
So currently I have a case opened…nerrrrhgh. I think I did that one by accident, so I’ll have to wait to be able to close it. 🙁
July 30, 2010 at 10:49 pm #822954That sucks hon, ebay pisses me off to no end. I would much prefer to sell off of ebay if I can ever help it. *sigh*

Yeah. I totaly understand. It does have the benifit of reaching other buyers not on the forum, but they really pull your teeth out in return. Gotta get those gold fillings ya know.
July 31, 2010 at 2:23 pm #822956I’m sorry you had that experience! I don’t sell on ebay anymore. I know I’d reach a much larger audience and am probably hurting myself by doing that but I just can’t deal with all the fees and hassle and politics. D:

My art: featherdust.comJuly 31, 2010 at 11:59 pm #822957I only had the problem once and the person did eventually pay- after 2-3 months and contacting ebay about it. Sorry that doesn’t help you much I guess.
