So, today has been one big humungus shiite of a day – actually, it’s been that way the whole week–if I didn’t know better I’d think that Mother Nature’s monthly gift was on the way except that the baby factory was removed years ago… There’s been some megaton fights, voices raised into regions that only dogs can hear, doors slamming, getting out of moving cars and walking home and it just goes on; you get the picture 🙄 🙄 🙄
In one of the few lulls in the storm, me boyohs went out to get the mail and they come in with not just bills and junk, but with two parcels as well. Roddy immediately jumps to the conclusion that I’ve purchased something when I haven’t and so I get the budget lecture as well… I have no clue as to who has sent the parcels or why. Me boyohs were dancing around in full on kenetic mode and want me to open them NOW!!!! “Now mum! Now, now, now!”
So the paper commences to fly and there in the package from Florida (Laurie, I suppose) is a small batwing siamese flap cat to match the one we have with birdwings AND a baby kirin! I was completely flabbergasted… The second box arrived from Mukilteo, Washington, so I’m assuming it’s laphon1 as there is no name or note that I’ve been able to find… Inside this second parcel is a female, black sunset, mama griffie 😮 😮 😮 Our griffy clutch now has a mum as well as three papas! Talk about being majorly overwhelmed! I don’t even know what our family did to be on the receiving end of such an awesome display of friendship and generosity!
“Thank you” is sooooo utterly and completely inadequate. How in the world will we ever be able to repay such wonderful friends? Needless to say, the day is no longer as snarky and nasty as it was! Thanks Laurie and laphon1 for turning our nasty week (day) into a much better “warm fuzzy” evening 😀 *blows nose and wipes face with hanky* 😀 Thankies, thankies, thankies! Lurvs y’all with all my heart! *sniffs* 😥

I’m sooo glad someone made your day! Hey, you’re a sweetie and people want to do things for you and your boyohs–they’re sweethearts too! Sorry your husband mistook the generosity of our forum members to be your own personal shopping spree! It’s so hard when you have to watch the money–so many fights break out because of it. Did he apologize afterwards when he saw that you didn’t purchase these items??!! He’d better or that’s another fight! 😈

*blushes* Really, I’m not THAT nice… I try to follow the ‘Golden Rule’ and most of the time I fall waaaaaaayyyyyyy short ! Once I find the camera (it’s still in a box somewhere) I’ll get pix taken and posted. Thanx again guys! You are FABULOUS!
