Melody, how is life in Oregon? Ever get the deer fences put up around your vegetable garden? Speaking of which-got any good veggies growing? Is the weather nice? πŸ™‚ Hopefully sculpting and casting hasn’t been draining you too much πŸ˜‰

It is beautiful here. I love it.
We did bring our problems with us, though. Casting is getting better, we may be able to start actually producing large batches of things soon, instead of twenty or thirty pieces at a time. We are still struggling to produce stuff however.
We never got around to getting a deer fence set up at Windstone… We haven’t had a spare second to even think about gardening, so we have no vegetables growing. We did get some baby fruit trees planted here, at our house, but the llamas broke into the orchard and gave them all a severe pruning. So, no fruit this year either. I think most of the trees will live, but they are pretty sad looking right now.

At least the weather is great!
That was a sweet question, thank you!

Sorry to hear you have no time for gardening right now πŸ™ I just started a garden myself and I think its one of the few things keeping me sane sometimes. Being outside is so relaxing πŸ™‚ You have an orchard though? That sounds neat. What kind of fruit? Do you have to spray the trees? I waned some fruit trees but my mom discouraged me saying i would have to spray it to keep bugs away. I hope you find some more time to do things other than windstone stuff. Any vacations planned?

We call it an orchard, but it is only 12 trees planted in an area surrounded by a big tall deer fence. (This is the fenced garden area at our home, not the biz) We have different kinds of plum , pear, apple, cherry and fig. They only need to have a “dormant spray” in fall. That is, if they manage to live that long.
We’ve never taken a vacation. We used to come here, to Corvallis, and work remotely for some time in the summer, but now we are here.
