so it hasn’t decided to explode yet but i have what looks to be a bulge developing on the right lower side, koko says it looks like an alien baby. and it is continuously uncomfortable and has stabs of pain. well it doesn’t look like it will clear up on it own… if it did that would be rare. so i have a doctors appointment tomorrow to see if it can be diagnosed yet. there is a possibility of another emergency room trip tonight but it isn’t to likely… to be honest i’m pretty nervous at this point because i can tell it progressing. oh well if it does finale get cut out i can drink beer and cider again :D…..but i’m not sure if i will it’ll probably make me miss english beer and cider…

OMG! Shouldn’t you be getting surgery, like, right now? 😮

I was unfortunate enough to have had mine burst in me.It was a horrific experience.Nothing to mess around with.It happens fast and hard, you really shouldn’t wait to find out what is wrong.I was lucky, some are not so fortunate.Good luck and get some help 🙂

This concerns me as well–I thought appendicitis was taken care of—immediately!!!!!!!!!! 😮 To wait for a doctor’s appointment tomorrow is crazy! The thing is bulging–looks like an alien baby? I can’t believe your doctor is taking a ‘wait and see’ approach about this! I really don’t mean to scare you, but from all indications, I feel a trip to emergency may be warranted! Like bodine says–it happens fast and hard. Please keep us posted.

well you see appendicitis can also form slowly and thats what i have. they would have taken it out 2 weeks ago but there was nothing in my blood panels and no inflammation of the appendix but the doctor was very convinced that it was appendicitis and was very strong on the point of when you go home if anything changes abruptly come back to the e.r. other wise i was instructed to see a primary care doctor within a week or so time. last week i didn’t have the energy and i also felt fine this week there are undeniable symptoms 😀 so maybe they’ll cut it out. for the last week i have been doing a lot of research so it’s been interesting learning about the different types of cases that can occur from such a little thing in your body.

Yeah, the doctors at the ER WERE very worried and they did stress on us as her family to watch her and take her in as the symptoms progressed…

They could not do anything at the time though because unfortunately there were no indications in the bloodwork. 🙁
And you guys know how it is,” HAY she has appendicitus but the blood work is not showing anything. Lets do surgery just in case!” next thing you know, the patient is suing the hospital and the “well, all the symptoms pointed to it.” is not good enough if the blood work did not show up.(at least that is what I assume)

We will see what the doc says today.

Good Luck dear.It is a shame so many things come down to the almighty dollar but no matter what the doc says, don’t you think maybe, since you have an unexplained knot in your belly,it doesn’t belong there?Maybe a second opinion doc?I’m just saying, take care.
