Is there anyone out there who has been brave enough to do a PYO dragon in red and black. Matte, Metalic, anything. I’m curious to see how they turned out.
I painted one eons ago…But I repainted him too. 😳
I think Serenity has done some that are red and black. I am working on a Fire Keeper Dragon right now, but he’s not just black and red. 😕I did a red/black keeper dragon. But I too repainted him. I might still have pictures of him before I repainted him if you’re interested in seeing them.

Oh Serenity, Those tribals are AMAZING! Red and black were our wedding colors, and I’m thinking of attempting a red and black for my first PYO, but I’m terrified! O.O
Why thank you very much! Red and black is pretty easy (for me) to do, plus I love those two colors together! (Great wedding colors!) Ours was Blue and White and I painted two small dragon PYO’s in those colors. 🙂

added purple to mine to make it more female…. 😉Well, I do oil paintings now(have for over 10 years!), but I can honestly say I’ve never attempted painting on something other than canvas or paper. I think my biggest fear is butchering something as amazing as a Windstone scultpure… 😮
Buy a muse first if you want… it has all the textures you’ll cross painting any of the PYO’s. You can practice on those, I think a lot of people do… plus they are cute… remind me of a hippy owl! LOL
Thank you! There are others on this forum that kick my butt in painting PYO’s lol But since we are all different in painting… no two come out looking alike! 😉
I have no worries for you. Not sure though on Oils on the gymsum… acylics is the medium that is most used…
I might have missed it mentioned, but Arlla did one as well. And probably others not mentioned too, but my memory isn’t the best.

I’ve done several different red and black, black and red.. all kinds of combinations..
I’ve got pictures all over.. prolly the easiest way to see them is just look through my photobucket though
