Hey, all-my grandma needs prayer. She is in the hospital because her legs were swelling up. She has had heart problems and surgery in the past, and so I am worried that it might be her heart. I am going to visit her tomorrow in the hospital, but right now they are just trying to figure out what’s causing the swelling. She also had bronchitis earlier last week, and so she has breathing problems at the moment. Grandma is very special to me, and even though I know that she isn’t going to be on this Earth forever, it still breaks my heart. I remember doing so much with her as a little girl, like coloring Easter eggs together, and spending time with her and grandpa, and spending the night at their house. As a teenager, I still thought of her as special, but I was more interested in TV or the computer, and so when I would go to her house, that is what I would do. As a young adult, I have been going to church with her every week (more like we go to separate services, and then we eat together/go to her house) and I love the relationship that I have with her, and I love how much Chloe and her love each other. I am worried, and I just don’t want to lose her. Since my mom lives in Florida, she is my only motherly figure that is close by, and that makes her more special. She is the sweetest woman in the world, and I want her to live forever. I know that I had started threads earlier about he heart surgery, and I hope this isn’t getting old, but I know how important prayers are, and warm thoughts. My husband is working, so it is only me by myself, so I guess I need someone right now. I am also sorry for being so scarce on the forums, I hope I didn’t disappoint anyone. Thank you for reading this.

Praying the doctors figure it out and can bring her healing and comfort. 🙂

{{Hugs tightly}} It is always too soon to lose someone you love. Praying for all of you. Don’t worry about being scarce or needing to “talk”. I’m sure everyone here understands. 🙂

Thank you. 🙂 *HUGS BACK* I just finished talking with my grandma, and they found out the cause of her swelling and the inability to breathe efficiently. She was short on blood. She said her blood was at 7.2 (I am not sure what that means) but as a result she had two blood transfusions last night. She said since then her swelling has gone down tremendously, and she is breathing much better now! They say that she must have a leak of blood somewhere in her body, and so they are going to try to find the source of it. Grandma is on blood thinners, so that might be the cause of her leaking blood. Hopefully they can find what’s causing the leak, otherwise she will continue to have her blood replaced. 🙁 I guess that means she didn’t have bronchitis. I am of better spirits this morning, I know she is at least feeling better, even though she isn’t out of the water yet.

Delighted they’re making progress and she’s looking better! 🙂 I’ll pray they can find wherever the internal bleeding is.

          Glad you’re feeling better. 🙂

I’m glad to hear that she is doing better. Hopefully if they adjust the blood thinners and find out where the source of the leak is she’ll be able to leave the hospital soon. *hugs* Hang in there!

I’m late, and I see she is improving, but I will keep you and yours deep in my thoughts tonight.
