😈 I told my boss that I quit,watched her throw a fit..told her,”April Fools”…watched her throw a fit because I got her{she was bragging nobody could catch her}..Then at break,I told a workmate to tell the boss…”April Fools,I quit.” and I drove away and never looked back.BAM!! XD 😈 XD

I haven’t pulled any pranks…. maybe I should try to pull one on my boss (but that would be mean, as we expect to be there until 8pm…. again.)
Generally I don’t even pull April fool’s jokes….. I don’t really like April Fool’s day….
Sheesh, Ski, you did scare me! I thought, “nah, can’t be, Ski’s not one for drama” and yet I did a double take… The only way I noticed the date today was because we were really busy at the office. April 1 is a major moving date.
I’m not one to pull pranks, but if I do I try to make them totally harmless. I don’t have anyone here to fool, but my husband set his co-workers computer screens to flip around 180° and back again a few times randomly. XD

😆 I wish I could have been there to see that! 😆 I did it by accident with my new Netbook last year, and it took me forever to figure out how to fix it! 😆
I remember when I quit my job at the insurance company. I hadn’t slept for two nights in a row (I’ll spare you the details), so it was a big relief to do it. The working conditions there were horrible, but I’m one of those people who just feels bad when she knows she’ll be giving someone a hard time (which was what happened). Once the deed was done, I relaxed. My departure was then announced to the whole department, everyone wished me luck, etc. Then one of my coworkers came up to me and asked if this was an April Fool’s in bad taste. I came close to slapping her. No, I hadn’t paid any attention to the date; giving my resignation was really hard for me and I was leaving really good people behind to the manager’s tender mercies. So that anyone could think that I (of all people) could come up with such a sick joke was actually insulting.
So no, I don’t pull pranks.

I know I was thinking that she was leaving too…. 😮 The forum just wouldn’t be the same without Ski, I think.
I was so tired coming home from work, that I didn’t even realize that the guy at the gas bar was trying to pull a prank on me. It totally backfired, it was great. 😆 He was trying to tell me that windshield washer fluid gets delivered or something, rather then buy it in store……… lol

My daughter asked me to put her ‘toaster strudels’ into the toaster this morning while she ‘did her hair’….. and so obiediently, I did the motions and shouted to her “DANG, the toaster isn’t working” and she asked what was wrong and I said the heating elements weren’t heating and she said all in a pissed off tone “oh GREAT, guess I can’t have something to eat on my way to school”……and I said
APRIL FOOLS
and by then she was all pissed off already and said I ruined her day.
::rolls eyes::: such drama from a college kid, right? lol

a couple folks at my office sent out to all employees a link to a press release that was just horrible. it quoted our creative director saying some unmentionables, our employees trash talking our clients… all around embarrassing! after several distraught reply-all responses went around they said it was an April Fools joke. they creatively wrote up the press release and mocked it up on a fake industry blog. i thought it was pretty creative.
