I went to the eye doctor (MD) today to have my cataracts measured and found out they are bad enough to have removed but the doctor said “I am going to tell you something you won’t like”. I said what ? He told me I have to have my contacts out for 30 DAYS before they can get an accurate measurement on the cataracts for removal. I am blind as a bat without them. I have worn contacts for almost 50 years. I am typing this with my nose 2″ from the screen. I have a pair of glasses but they are probably 20 – 25 years old and I only use them once in a great while late at night to see TV or something. I go back on April 30th and they will probably do the first eye a week later and the 2nd two weeks after that. The doctor says after that my vision will be better than ever. I hope so. No contacts is suffering
WHAT A BUMMER! TRYING TO TYPE THIS EXTRA HUGE SO YOU CAN SEE IT! I WEAR CONTACTS AS WELL BUT I DO HAVE A PAIR OF GLASSES I WEAR AROUND THE HOUSE. HOPE SOMEONE IS HELPING YOU GET AROUND UNTIL THEN. OF COURSE IF YOU LIVED HERE, YOU CAN BE LEGALLY BLIND AND STILL HAVE A DRIVER’S LICENSE!!!!!! 😈 😆
Then get an up-to-date pair of glasses!

You can easily increase the size of text (and images) on the internet!!
While browsing the internet… Simply PRESS and HOLD the [ CTRL ] Button on your keyboard, then tap the + (plus) key. Each time you tap it, it will magnify!
To make it smaller again, Press and HOLD [ CTRL ] and tap the – (minus) key.It is very easy to do and quick too!!
