What else should I make? Your suggestions are appreciated!

I already PM’d you but I thought you might like to make Native American style jewelry or small wall hangings. The Na’vi inspired stuff would be hot right now. I see bare wooden items in Michaels that cost only $1–check them out and get inspired–there are also bird houses, wooden plagues–items go on and you would pay up to $7 for some of these. Also, I’ve seen painting on wooden beads–you could string them on some sort of cord. I’ve also seen paintings on sea shells and little keepsake boxes. How about painting on blank note cards and selling a set of them with envelopes. With your painting talent, there are a number of things you could paint on and it wouldn’t have to be elaborate–just seal them. What I’m thinking is that some of these items wouldn’t be that expensive and most people would be able to afford them. You could get the materials very reasonable and would make a little profit.

Thoughts keep coming in–paint on covers of journals, file folders, note books, little pocket calendars and address books. I have a set of file folders that is covered with birds–set of 10 that I paid $20 for–you would have to work with a printing company. Also, you could create your own greeting cards–you worked in that business and I’ve seen stuff from other artists online. I don’t know the costs from Cafe Press, but your art could also be on those items–I have small tiles that are refrigerator magnets I spent about $3 for. One of your dragons on a T-shirt would be awesome! Worth checking out. Let you know if more ideas pop [snerk–almost typed poop 😆 ] into my head! 😀

Have you ever thought about selling on Etsy instead of eBay?? People sell a lot of handmade items there, as well as original art. Just a thought… 😳

Well, you could always give sculpting a try! Or become a fursuit maker like me 😀 YAY!

In all seriousness, I bet the jewelery is a good idea. You would probably be amazing at it.

You can use ponies from thrift stores and/or buy blanks from Hasbro http://www.hasbro.com/mylittlepony/en_US/shop/details.cfm?guid=93C1E395-6D40-1014-8BF0-9EFBF894F9D4&product_id=21197&src=endeca and can do pretty much anything from just painting on them to rehairing to sculpting.

I also second the etsy suggestion. And I like all the other suggestions so far as well. You WILL show us the results of any of these you decide to try, right?
