Do you want this to continue to be ‘ask random forum member’?
I noticed that recently the activity on those topics has really dwindled. As we get more and more members, and many of them don’t post much— which is OKAY! But it makes these topics pretty quiet.
Should we keep doing “Ask so-and-so?”Should I just start making it random topics, such as the Weather, etc?
What do you think? Let’s get some input!

Change it up every once in a while…this could be the holiday thread? Fathers Day, Mothers Day, Valentines day, New Years, and all the others? Just tossing it out there. 🙂

My art: featherdust.comI like Ski’s idea of hopping back and forth between both options. 🙂 And maybe change it more often than once a month (assuming you remember!) for some of the questions.
I too vote for the random sort of topics–could be fun or weird! Not all members want to be in the spotlight of having people ask them stuff because we may not want to answer. I find more people are willing to answer stuff if they are part of a larger group–like what you do collect besides Windstones was a topic that is currently up.
Yes! Like ski and ladyfirebird suggested! (since I’m not ver good at starting topics – talking is easeir for me 🙄 )

That’s what I was afraid of. At first when the forum was started back in 2006, there were so few of us that it was mostly just to be silly and we were all pretty cozy with one another. Now we’re a much bigger family and I know a few people have been embarrassed to be spotlighted- which made me feel bad because we were doing it just to be silly and fun. Not to mention as we got more and more people… I was worried someone would feel left out. Again not the intent, so I though what the heck, let’s make it something random!
