I’ve decided I am going to try to do a self published sketch book of some favorite coa sketches.
We’ve saved copies of all of them , but I can see that the copies we have aren’t that good. I could sharpen them up in Photoshop but that would take forever… so.. would it be possible for you guys to send me scans of any coa sketches you have? If I can get enough of these together, maybe I could go to work on this project!

That sounds so great! Could you maybe include other small sketches that we might not have seen yet? πŸ™‚

              If I may recommend:
Those that scan their sketches, consider scanning at at least 200dpi. 300-400dpi would be preferred by most printing houses, but 200dpi is really about the lowest you want to go for print.
Some scanners are set at a base 72dpi and that can make an image look pretty gross when printed.

Yeah, scanning at 300 dpi is best.

Do you want scans of the entire certificate or just the sketch area?

                  #794600

I’ve made scans of most of my certificates, but I can’t seem to change the resolution of my scanner. It’s stuck at 200 dpi until I can figure out how to change it. I’ve tried reading the manual and looking through the software, but I can’t find anything allowing me to change the resolution. (I can change my printing resolution though…) Anyway, before I send them, I have one last question – I have the “Koi Dragon” sketch that I won on ebay a little while ago. Would you like a scan of that too?
