For inexpensive polyresin figurines, they are quite nice!Cool! She has another one that’s a solid bronze color. If I find a picture of it, I’ll post it. I love Jody Bergsma’s artwork!!!

REALLY tempted to pick one up.
They’re nice, but… take it or leave it I’m happy.
I have a serious dislike for painted on eyes. They just look so… fake…. yick.
The rest of the sculptures are very nice, aside from that!
And I’m one who is spoiled by Melody’s beautiful work so I really don’t like the looks of those gryphons.
I’m the same way really, even if it’s a higher end piece. If it’s not a Windstone, I have a more difficult time justifying the purchase… Unless it is original art direct from the artist, in any form! 😀 Besides Windstones, there was a time when all I did was purchase gargoyles. It didn’t matter who made it or where it came from. If I found a gargoyle somewhere it ended up coming home with me. I finally got out of that phase, and I’m so glad I did, because yeesh.. some of them were just butt ugly. 😆
I’m a lot more picky now, mainly because I’m spoiled with Windstone’s immaculate detailing and finishes. 🙂
It’s nice to see griffins become a bit more widespread. But when animal anatomy in a sculpture is slightly off, it makes me want to chew through drywall. And with these little guys, it’s off. I like that they’re griffins, they’re nicely dramatic, but… 😕

Yeah well of course NOTHING can hope to even come close to Melody’s work!! I just sometimes need to keep budget in mind! I’m hearing my checking account moaning whenever I start perusing Windstones on eBay…or in the store… 8)
Yeah, I have to admit, the anatomy on those gryphons has me clawing at my eyes. Especially the wings. Egads.

My art: featherdust.comI think they’re pretty cool! The paint jobs on them could use some darkening up, but they are pretty cool. Its nice to see more gryphons out there though-I agree.
