Hi Melody,
Likely this was asked somewhere but I admit, I stink at the search feature. Easy and straight forward questions though…1. Have the eyes for the Coiled Mothers ever come in? So patiently awaiting an Amethyst Coiled Mommala!
2. I’ve heard but want to be sure- will you eventually do enough Spotted Griffin family members so that we can all get them? I’m in desperate need of a Male and Chickadees!
3. Will you make more of the Large Tuxedo NON-Moustache Black & White Flap Cats so we can nab them? Maybe even some eyes closed ones… and perhaps a version where there is no white blaze on face but rather black face, white chin onto chest? Just an idea.
4. There was only ever such a small amount of Orange & White with Blue wings Small Flaplets. I really need the Batwinged version. Will there ever be more?
I realize about the casting issues so I’m speaking of when casting is resolved. Thank you!

It isn’t a matter of waiting for the eyes coming in, it is a matter of us getting the eye painting department running. The eye paint is all gunky and not working properly, so we need to have someone spend time to fool around with it. Since we have back stock on most eyes, this project isn’t quite urgent enough to get worked on. It will be urgent soon!

I would like to do some version of Bengal griffins as limited production, though they won’t look like the ebay ones. It would need to be a simpler pattern that the production painters can do.This will be in the future when we are casting enough pieces! Right now we are struggling to replenish our normal stock of items such as candle lamps.

Possibly. All cat colors are a possibility.

We may make more of any color of limited production pieces that were not signed. I don’t remember if those were signed or not.. anybody know?

According to the store description (Same goes for the Bird Winged):
This is the Bat Winged twin of the the Bird-winged Flap Cat in Orange and White with Blue Wings. He has the same pearly blue wings, but his are detailed with metallic gold paint on his wing-claws. He has an ice blue jewel set in his golden collar. He is an unsigned limited production piece. He has a grey felt Windstone pad with the North Hollywood address on it, and a hangtag. We only have a small batch of this cat right now!
Ha! you beat me to it 😛 . I just checked mine and they are not signed. These are the orange tabby flappers with the ice colored wings that were offered in the store a while back 😉 .
I should have specified… I knew you were awaiting orange eyes which is, in part, why the Amy Coiled Moms haven’t come out yet. I should’ve asked if orange eyes came in rather than just Coiled. But you answered the question none the less.
Great about future Bengal Griffs but I was referring to the black and white Spotted ones that have been in the store for a while now. You just did a batch of females, which I was able to get but I need the Male and Chicks. I guess some call them “Beagle” Griffins but that name never caught on for me (makes me think of the dog which to me, these griffs don’t resemble). So I went with the title in the store. By the way, I LOVE what you did with the orange hue over the eyebrows. It puts me in mind of Rottweiler markings and being that is one of my favourite breeds ever, well, there is the simple math of it all. Can’t wait to see the Male with such markings! 8)
I just heard my purse take a deep breath in when I read about future store Bengal Flaps! It’s turning blue 😮 😉
Yay! The orange and white small flaplets were not signed so there’s hope that more batwings can return! I have the bird wing and she’s very lonely without her mate! I really, really want one but simply can’t afford the ones being offered second hand right now 😥 :sigh: It’s ironic too because in all my collecting, I’ve always been able to procure the batwings and have had trouble nabbing bird wings. In this case, it’s reversed! I am however, more of a batwing fan for the impish side in me. But when a cat passes on, then I crave the bird wing that would look like it. So I’m really hoping for the large tuxedo cat to return because we’re losing the oldest of household cats soon enough. And, I don’t have a large flapper yet either! I wish I were a fan of the orange tabbys (IRL too) but for that colour I’ll stick with small flaplets. I’ll buy ANY store small flapper. I know one day you’re gonna bust a move and do one in fantasy colours! Kitty Halloween!

Ooh if you find a simpler Bengal pattern, will it be doable on the Flap Cats, do you think? Maybe even those small Flap Cats too. 🙂
Hrmph. An ebay seller says there will be no more of the Spotted Griffin chicks made. I’m hoping that what Melody said here refers to the entire Spotted [Beagle] Griffin family, and that like the adults, the chicks will be made again too. I know many of us would like to gather the family and I only have the female. And I’m hoping the ebay seller is wrong! I’m sweating now… 🙄 :shout: 😮 😈 … 🙂

unfortunately.. a lot of those ebay sellers will say certain things to assure a good sale on their items.. or they could actually think that there will not be more..
and a lot of bidders do not come to the forum, so they might not see that Melody said she’d make more.. also some of the people that buy from the online store don’t read the forum either.. especially because it can be quite too much for new people to read..
I know most of the time it’s too much for me to read anymore..
That particular version of the spotted griffin family that is up on ebay wont be made any more. Only the version 2’s will be made now and the ones on ebay are version 1.
