Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Most of my Halloween will be spent helping my aunt move. Arg, I can’t believe she ended up choosing HALLOWEEN to do this. Well, there is a small party I got invited too, so, at least I’ll have a chance to dress up later in the day! 🙂 But I love giving out the candy to kids and seeing all the costumes….missing that will bum me out. 🙁
Right now I’m fixing some goodies to take over to my neighbor’s tomorrow evening. Making Candy Corn cookies, which is just sugar cookies with food coloring–feels like I’m playing with playdough and spider truffles–heavy cream simmered with orange zest, whole cloves and cinnamon sticks and poured over semi sweet chocolate. Then form into balls, rolled in cocoa powder with licorice for legs and red candies for eyes. Tomorrow I make pumpkin cookies which is just spice cookies with orange icing. So having some fun, my kitchen is a mess but look forward to tomorrow evening! 😀

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Happy Halloween!!! double post – sorry… Part of my trip out to Cape Cod was for some family history research and low and behold, the family “oral history” that says that we descend from witches persecuted during the Salem Witch Trials are true 😮 😮 😀 John and Mary Proctor were tried and convicted for witchcraft. John was executed but Mary was pregnant at the time and so the descision was made to delay her execution until the baby was born. Mary somehow managed to escape and had the baby (a boy named John for his father) and we come through that line. So now I can proudly display the following –
An interesting side note to all this is that the locals who live in Salem, Mass. (and I do mean ALL) avoid Salem in October like the plague 😮 If you have somewhere else that you can go/be for October, you leave -period. After Halloween the locals come home and things return to “normal” 😮 Just to be on the safe side I brought home a “witch ball” to hang in the window to protect us from not so nice influences. Between that and our Native American dreamcatchers I think we’re pretty well covered!

I was hoping for maybe a black Puffin or Tiger in the store for my Trick or Treat. lol
I just snagged some autumn dragons from the dragoncave. I’m sitting on the couch feeling blech (was sick the other day with a fever, still feeling crappy after getting off of work really late), waiting to see if we have any trick or treaters (it’s raining out and we usually don’t get many, so the goodies might end up being all mine) 8) . Since I’m not feeling all that great, I decided to just wear my ren garb (just the shift, overskirt, bodice and my hat.
Good for you! Sorry you aren’t feeling so swell… I’m wearing all 4 of my tiaras at the same once ’cause I can’t choose just one… 😳 😆 😆 that and my black hoodie that has a glittery purple “vampire” smiley face on it (think ubiquitous yellow smiley face only with fangs) 😀

Happy Halloween from the Boys…Tonight was my 3rd year of Band Members/Music artists…
This year was Aaron…As Joey Jordison from Slipknot.
I can’t find the ones from last year…I did 2…Jay and Shaggy from Insane Clown Posse. Those were 2 more of Glens Friends.
And this is Glen from 2007…He was Shaggy 2 Dope from Insane Clown Posse.
That is how I spent my evening. 😀
