Will there ever be Limited Production Copper Patina Sun Dragons? Just curious… or will the be an ebay thing if they are made?
I didn’t even know if they were being cast at all.

Melody, I just got my Patina Oriental yesterday and it’s SO STUNNING! The finish looks like fine pounded copper on the scales and the coloration is so much richer then I thought it would be when I saw it in the store. I also LOVE the randomly placed lighter colored scales. This would look SO AMAZING on Sun Dragons! *I BEGS YOU* PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE make some squeek* squeek* squeek*

I didn’t even know if they were being cast at all. Probably, if we ever make more. The copper patina is a great way to use slightly imperfect castings, so I have a feeling if that is a percentage of what we will be turning out from now on, ( we aren’t getting anywhere in improving the casting issues) it is likely most of the smooth dragon pieces will be available in this color. Some pieces are casting pretty well. Some, such as the Orientals, are almost impossible to cast without defects these days.
We all like the copper patina finish so well, we just did a batch of copper patina curlies, and they weren’t even bad castings!I love all the orientals. I would love a sun dragon, or any oriental, in any color lol. I still need to get both the patina and regular oriental amethyst… can’t even seem to be on when they come out 🙁

Hmm aren’t they both males? I remember Melody referring to the regular orientals as males (and the amethyst’s store description says male as well). The moon dragon was going to be the only female of course that looks just like the sun… not feminine at all.

I would love to see oriental suns!! In any and all colors, it’s hard to find any but the ruby any more. And patina coiled mothers squeek* squeek* squeek*
I was just hoping to hear they would make the sun in the patina color. That sculpt looks awesome in the house and that color would rock.
HOLY CRAP! I got my regular Patina Oriental yesterday! The color is so much RICHER then I thought it would be when I saw the store photo, and the random off color scales are a lovely touch! I LOVE IT! One of my FAVORITE Orientals to date!!!!!

Me to!! I know I already squeaked, but I’ll squeak again for Copper Patina Suns. And maybe more Orientals and Young Orientals. I missed both of those little buggers 🙄 .
