I just got my first Poad in the mail today! He’s a tan bengal, and just what I was hoping for. He’s got more color than the one shown in the store (yay!). The second picture makes me *lawl*
October 10, 2009 at 7:06 pm #786467Oooooooo inspired enough to get to uploading photos in computer. Spotty, dimpled bums to be shown soon. Have you ever noticed that there are ‘dimples’ on their bums? Very faint indentations on both cheeks–they are not highlighted so that they are readily noticable but they are there—check it out! 😆
October 10, 2009 at 8:27 pm #786468I’m not motivated to drag out the camera again now, but here are my shots I posted on the ‘just bought’ thread a week or so back. So yes, there’s a Cuttle Poad in there too. 😉
I am loving having them! 😀
October 10, 2009 at 11:38 pm #786469I love seeing the cuttle poad’s color scheme in comparison to other poads. Different than I thought, but still beautiful 😀 And I love your bengal poad, Thunderwing. So adorable! Out of curiousity, do all the bengal poads have dark shading in their, umm, bum region? 😳
I don’t have any bengals so I’ll just be an observer.
October 11, 2009 at 12:51 am #786470*gets to show off her First Poad again ^^ *

October 11, 2009 at 1:14 am #786471That’s so neat how you got the ‘Panty Poad’! I love seeing her again! 😀 😆 😀

*hehehe* Well, Adanath’s doesn’t seem to have that shading, so I don’t know. Guess as more pics show up we’ll find out. I had to chuckle at that too… reminds me of my otherwise white guinea pig, who likes to sit in the litter corner. So she has a yellow bum. (Which looks very silly when she runs!) Guess my Poad and my piggie need a few lessons in hygiene. :nea:
October 11, 2009 at 4:32 pm #786473There’s some dark shading in the ‘butt cracks’ 😆 on mine too, but it’s not as wide or dark as on Thunderwing’s Poad. Usually it just looks like a shadow to me, unless I hold their rumps straight up to the light! 😆

I still don’t see the panty thing???
October 12, 2009 at 10:40 pm #786475I shouldn’t have bought one but I did. Mine has a cat face on her butt. No pics yet, been sick and just way too busy. 🙁

Sun Dragon Koi #3October 13, 2009 at 12:14 am #786476A cat face? I’m quite intriged! 🙂 Hope you feel better soon.

Yep. It’s got little sqigles on the cheeks with dots in the middle that look like eyes. The butt crack ends right where the nose would be and 3 or 4 dots on each butt cheek that look like whiskers. I’ll have to get a pic for you guys. I thought it was hysterical.

Thanks for the replies. I don’t think it makes the piece unattractive just that it’s something I hadn’t even noticed before until your photo. I looked at my butternut, and he has the same shading. I guess I’m not really visually observant 😳

Loki, my white/gray rabbit had the yellow bum as well. Kind of funny to see her running off with her yellow bum 😀
