I saw a deer run across my car once, but that’s about it. I can’t imagine seein gone out in the yard. That must be amazing! Can’t wait to see photos.

Awesome! They almost as numerous as squirrels on my college campus, especially when the students left. They knew when everyone went home, except us ‘full time residents’ who didn’t leave except for the holidays we HAD to (I only left for the winter break, and then only for part of it). Always fun stalking them and watching up really close. 🙂

Mule deer are so neat! We used to have a little quarter mare with great big ears. The deer would let us ride right up to them, within ten or fifteen feet; on foot, they wouldn’t have let us within fifty yards. Foxy didn’t much care for the deer, but they seemed to like her just fine! Must have been the ears. 😉
