I can’t be the first person to have thought of this. How cool would it be to have one though?
It would be interesting! Yeah like a big pow wow for Windstone fans everywhere. Imagine us meeting together like that–putting faces to some of these avatars. Who knows–it could happen! 🙂
I think this idea has been tossed around before… *i just can’t find the thread* I think it’d be fabo!

I’ve only ever been to one convention and it was Dragon*Con back in the late 1990s. The next con I’ll be going to is one being planned by some friends of mine, Lexi-con. It’s a Sci-fi and Fantasy Gaming Convention in Pensacola the weekend of Oct. 15-17, 2010. The Web site’s down right now, dunno why. Richard Lee Byers is a confirmed guest.
Windstone con would be awesome and I’d definately find a way to get to it if it happened, but it doesn’t seem realistic unfortunately.
As for Location, I say we all converge on the Factory, maybe they can put us to work for a day! We get to spend an hour or two learning how our favorite sculptures are made and Windstone gets some free labor lol
I know we’re so scattered it wouldn’t be realistic for everyone no matter where it was held, but I was thinking that it would be neat to meet somewhere near the factory too.

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Woot! I’d love to go to a Windstone con! There could be sessions on sculpting and artwork, mass PYO painting rooms, lots of fun stuff! I agree that with so many people around the country (and the world!) that love Windstones, it would be tough to find a place everyone could go. It would be great to even see just pictures of it though 🙂 The only con I manage to get to regularly is NanDesuKan in Denver, which is coming up soon, gotta get stuff ready for my artist’s booth!

I didn’t base him on the Windstone oriental dragons, but like them this costume has no wings. People often mistake me for some kind of dinosaur when I wear it! Either that or they think I’m a guy inside the costume, hehee!

why not just find a place with the cheapest airfares to and do it there…kansas is fairly cheap to fly to…You just need a place with a convension center….my bf is a pilot so im at an advantage though we’d have to rent the plane.
