Oh mah gash. My brain hurts from working with these minute details, but I’m pretty happy with this repair. I really appreciate Melody’s work even more now, the detailing on this sculpt is insane. So I took lots of pics!

I’ll post the Before photos later tomorrow–tell me if you can see anything 😉

        Close ups:

Wow, he looks to be in great condition! I’d love to see the before pics. What a gem. Those guys dont come up often and when they do, they are usually all banged up.

He looks very nice! I had to look to see where you had repaired him!

Sorry it took longer to get the repair pics up–birthday plans got in the way 😳 Here are the photos before–just after I filled in the chips with epoxy but before I sanded and painted. I used Apoxie Sculpt–it was so worth buying online.

Here’s the largest chip–it required resculpting the dragon’s face.
              Before:

              After:

Then he had some nicks on his hood. The surface of the paint wasn’t broken, but I filled them and painted over so they were smooth again.
              Before:

              After:

Lastly he had some chips on the edges of his robe, so I filled them and repainted.
              Before:

              After:

He got a full cleaning and inspection. That crystal really sparkles when it’s clean. I’m ecstatic with this repair!

Very nice. It’s always to see the before pics as well as the after. Good job!
