Here’s the skinny–
Money’s becoming a big issue these days and I’ve been doing all kinds of odd jobs and selling/ebaying some of my Windstones to make ends meet. Well, my sister and I have set a date to drive up to San Francisco and see some dear friends of mine I haven’t seen in ages. It’ll be a very cheap trip since we’ll be couch-surfing while we visit, but we do need to come up with enough cash for gas and food (and PBRs for our host 😀 )
I have a little saved for it, but not enough. So I’m wondering if there would be any interest in the brown cape/rose sleeves Wizard I found recently. I was planning to keep him just because he was such a rare find, but I need to come up with enough money for this trip. Would there be any possible interest in him?
I’m working on repairing the couple chips he has and restoring him to his former glory. I’ll put up pics when I list him, for now I’m trying to get a feel if letting him go will be a help, or a heartbreaker…
I am sure there are a few here who would love ti have him, including myself. But, also as a warning, if you are having issues with weather or not to sell him already, then you will probably kick yourself in the butt over and over if you decide to sell him, and do.
Just my 2 cents since I have been in the same position before, but sold it anyway…Spent many years kicking myself until I found another.
Well, actually, it was 2…I got both of the Wizard Cats, peacock and emerald for only $35 a piece since an online store had a real goof up on their page, and they had to sell them to me for that price. It was a great find! I sold them both and ended up paying a large amount more for them than they were even back then regular price. I wish I would have kept them! 🙄But he is a beautiful piece…I saw your post elsewhere. 🙂
