He likes to Barbque his. Mine is Rare,(hold the moo) marinated first and than seared on each side on the grill or broiled, topped with sauteed mushrooms and vidalia onions, Baked potato, green salad or fresh cut garden veggies, corn on the cobb and for dessert ice cream or cheesecake with fresh fruit
MMMM Alberta AAA steak, T-Bone or Prime Rib, BBQed with potatoes. My potatoes are sliced with carrots and celery wrapped in tinfoil with butter and spiced and put on the bbq on low for about an hour. My steak is done rare, or medium rare, and occasionally blue rare, but usually rare…mmmm.
Medium rare with baked potatoes with sour cream and some sort of vegetable –broccoli, carrots, peas! This post is making me hungry and I’m trying to watch what I eat and I don’t mean watch the food on the plate and watch it go into my mouth! 😆 And apple plie a la mode for dessert! Yeah I’m going to lose weight on this diet! XD

I don’t really like steak. I eat it, and I enjoy it with enough steak sauce on it. I don’t like steak because you gotta cook it! I like it REALLLY rare. But meat isn’t good for you. so I feel guilty. and you gotta contribute to murdering a cow. and I feel guilty… and you do gotta cook it… My husband usually does the directing of the cooking. He invents new stuff every time, no recipes.
Got any recipes for lamb?

*edit* HOWEVER John made steak once with wild picked chantrell mushrooms… OMG it was good!Oooooo yes lamb. I remember a sauce I made to put over lamb chops and it was called ‘Sunshine Lamp Chops’. You mix 1/2 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of mustard, 1/8 teaspoon of onion salt and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper. Put it in a sauce pan and heat until just bubbly. Put that over your lamb chops–it is a bit tangy. Give it a try and let us know what you think. 😀
I don’t eat steak very often. I only ususally get a craving for it about once a month. When I do have steak, I love it rare and bloody 👿 . Yummy :yum: !

Have you ever tried a flat iron steak? They are super tender and taste really good! Maybe John can make one with those mushrooms? *hint to John!*
